The Ocean Mammal Institute will not be offering the Whale Research Internship in Maui in January 2025. We look forward to seeing you in 2026.

Application Process
Applicants can expect the application process to go as follows:
- Fill out the internship application form included below
- Pay the $150 deposit via PayPal or a mailed-in check
- The internship coordinator will contact you with more information. If you chose to continue your application, the coordinator will contact your provided references or academic advisor (if applicable).
- Next, you will do a phone interview with the internship coordinator where you will find out if you have been accepted.
- Once you have been accepted, the spot is being offered to you but will not be secured as yours until you have paid the remaining balance for the internship fee.
- After you have made your final payment and gotten confirmation from the internship coordinator, you will be set to join us in Maui!
